Klassix Auto Museum
A collection of Corvette autos from every year since 1953 is the
centerpiece of Klassix Auto Museum. Complementing the collection
are period sets and scenery chronicling the role of the
automobile in American history. Areas dedicated to the history
of racing, bike week and classic cars are also featured.

Halifax Historical
Museum
The "Halifax area" stretches along both sides of the
Halifax River and includes the towns of Daytona Beach, Ormond
Beach, Ormond by the Sea, Holly Hill, Daytona Beach Shores,
South Daytona and Ponce Inlet. The museum that serves this area
features displays and artifacts from local historical sites,
including Indian mounds and plantations. Memorabilia from the
early days of auto racing is also included. A library and
research center are available for research.

Special exhibits and changing programs complement permanent

Museum of Arts and
Science/Planetarium
Located in the Tuscawilla Nature Preserve, the museum showcases
one of the best collections of American art 1620-1920 in
the southeast in the Dow Gallery of American Art. Also showcased
is a fine collection of Cuban art. The Prehistory of Florida
wing features a 13-foot-tall, 130,000-year-old skeleton of a
giant ground sloth. The museum also features a planetarium as
well as changing exhibitions. The Window in the Forest
Interpretive Center provides information about the unique
environment in the nature preserve.
