1. Ignition switch loose tightened  and tested satisfactory
2. Shifter and throttle cables  replaced and tested sat
3. New Fuel Tank sending unit (in tank) and gauge (on console)  INSTALLED and tested 6-20-2010
4. Installed gauge to check battery condition and charging system INSTALLED and tested 6-20-2010

RUB RAILS
Material is 5/4 x 6 inch 16 feet long TREX planks which are used to make decks.  
It was cut it in half, then then cut and notched to allow for installation.  
Design, cuts and trim was done by Mr. Daniel Boone, of DeLand Fl.

Rub Rail

SLOT that goes over the TOP of the metal edge
SS screws will go from right to left and bite into the left section to hold rail in place.

Trimmed to go down to the deck at the stern of the vessel. 


Bow Area
The metal hull is 1/8 inch thick aluminum. 
The rails were cut to allow for going over the metal.

It is hard to see but there is an ANGLE cut to "HOPEFULLY" join up with the bow rails
I was told I may need some 4 inch caulk to fill the gap but I am shooting for 1/2 inch caulk

There are NO fasteners in the plank, at this point. 
I will be using SS screws from the out side and through the 1/8 inch aluminum hull into the inside section of the rail.  I plan to space the screws @ 18 inches apart.
