1. Ignition switch loose tightened  and tested satisfactory
2. Shifter and throttle cables  replaced and tested sat
3. New Fuel Tank sending unit (in tank) and gauge (on console)  INSTALLED and tested 6-20-2010
4. Installed gauge to check battery condition and charging system INSTALLED and tested 6-20-2010

CENTER CONSOLE

Made of ALUMINIUM

I have not removed the ALUMINUM center console yet.
It sits on and is bolted through the plywood to the aluminum supports under the plywood.

To remove the console, I have to disconnect:
steering
gear shift / throttle
Electrical supply (12 volt) and grounding connection
Fuel fill hose (fill cap on top of console)
Fuel vent line (up to top right side of console)

Unbolt the console and remove.
Remove LAST PIECE of plywood.

The built in fuel tank is BELOW the console area.

INSIDE THE CONSOLE

Steering Controls  note tube at top @ 14 inches long
Appears to be PLASTIC TUBING with a nut on it to attach it to mechinism
with a blue colored cap on the end

Throttle control has MORSE Brand name on cover
